Project Specifics: 12,000 sq. ft. infill addition on the roof of existing hospital, between two adjacent structures and 36,000 sq. ft. of renovated medical procedure space.
Challenges: Construction work in an occupied hospital environment—where patient safety and infection control were top priorities—came with a significant degree of difficulty. Integrating the addition upon an existing rooftop by securing it to existing structures around the complete perimeter was another challenging endeavor.
