Project Specifics: Renovation of 10,000 sq. ft. of hospital space in the Neurosurgery Intensive Care Unit within the main University of Michigan Hospital.

Challenges: Performing construction in the heart of an active hospital environment is never a simple task. The major challenge was infection control, including the need to encapsulate the entire jobsite using temporary partitions, avoid negative air pressure, cover materials during transport and lock-off the jobsite when exiting—all while maintaining an impeccably clean work environment.
